Koichi Nagasato, CPA
I started my career in the accounting departments of American companies in Tokyo, including AIG and Morgan Stanley, and later joined Honda’s international tax department. International taxation has been my focus ever since.
I earned my graduate degree from Waseda University, one of Japan’s leading universities for accounting, where I specialized in international taxation. Before that, I studied at a university in the United States and lived in Philadelphia and Manhattan.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me on a snowboard.

I began my career as a certified public accountant at EY, and I later spent time working in Singapore. Accounting runs in the family — my father is a highly experienced certified public accountant himself.
